Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Mongkol, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Mongkol on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must:

• Provide accurate information when you register.
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@mongkol.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission, or create more accounts than your plan permits.

3. The service

Mongkol provides tools to create bilingual digital invitations, manage guest lists, track RSVPs, run QR code check-in at events, and record cash gifts. We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
• Perform scheduled maintenance (we aim to schedule this outside peak ceremony hours).
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Organiser responsibilities

As an organiser using Mongkol, you are responsible for:

• The accuracy of all event information (names, dates, venues) in your invitation.
• Ensuring you have the right to add guests' contact information and that guests consent to receiving your invitation.
• Any content you upload — photos, text, and other media must not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
• Communicating ceremony changes (date, venue, cancellation) to your guests directly.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Mongkol to:

• Send spam or unsolicited messages.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Collect guest data for purposes other than your ceremony.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
• Create invitations for illegal events or activities.

6. Payments and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you downgrade or cancel, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual property

The Mongkol platform, templates, and brand assets are owned by us and protected by copyright. You retain ownership of the event content you create. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to operate the service for you.

8. Limitation of liability

Mongkol is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to missed RSVPs, check-in failures due to connectivity issues, or data loss beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to you in any month shall not exceed the fees you paid us in that month.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your invitations will become inaccessible to guests and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
