Getting Started

How do I create my first invitation?: Sign up for a free account, then click "New Invitation" from your dashboard. Choose a ceremony type (wedding, house blessing, ordination, etc.), pick a template, fill in your event details, and publish. Your unique sharing link is ready instantly.
Which ceremony types does Mongkol support?: Mongkol supports weddings, house blessings (ពិធីចូលផ្ទះ), ordinations (បួសព្រះ), memorials, birthdays, and business openings. Each type comes with ceremony-appropriate templates and bilingual (Khmer / English) layouts.
Can I preview my invitation before sending it?: Yes. During the design step you can see a live preview of your invitation exactly as guests will see it on their phones. You can also send yourself a test link before publishing.
Is there a free plan?: Yes. The free plan lets you create one invitation with up to 50 guests. Paid plans unlock more guests, multiple invitations, gift tracking, and the QR check-in console. See the Offerings section on the home page for full details.

How do I add guests?: From your invitation's Guest List tab, add guests individually or paste a list. Each guest gets a unique personalised link that shows their name on the invitation. You can also create guest sets (e.g. "Family", "Colleagues") and assign separate links per set.
What is a guest set?: A guest set is a group of guests who share the same seating zone or relation to the host. Each set gets its own link so you can track who has opened and RSVP'd per group without exposing the full guest list.
Can guests RSVP directly from the invitation?: Yes. Guests tap the RSVP button on their invitation, confirm attendance, optionally leave a message for the couple or host, and receive a digital ticket with their name and QR code for event-day check-in.
How do I see who has RSVP'd?: Your dashboard shows a live RSVP count. The Guest List tab shows each guest's status: not opened, opened, RSVP'd attending, or RSVP'd not attending.

How does QR check-in work?: Each confirmed guest receives a digital ticket with a unique QR code. On the day of your event, open the Check-in Console from your invitation and use any smartphone camera to scan guest QR codes at the door. The guest's name and table/zone appear instantly.
Do I need internet on the day?: The check-in console works offline after the first load. Guest data is cached so you can check in guests even without a stable internet connection at the venue. Attendance syncs to your dashboard when you reconnect.
Can multiple people scan at the same time?: Yes. Open the Check-in Console on multiple devices — all check-ins sync in real time so you can run parallel entry queues for large events.

How does the gift book work?: The Gift Book is a cash-gift ledger linked to your invitation. At the event, you or a family member records each guest's cash gift amount. The total is tallied automatically so you always know the running total.
Can guests see each other's gift amounts?: No. Gift records are private to the organiser. Guests never see the ledger.
Can I export the gift records?: You can export a CSV of the gift book from your invitation's Gift Book tab. This is useful for sharing with family members who help manage finances on the day.
